Under-Counter Wine Storage
424 and 427-series, 24 inches, built into cabinetry.
Sub-Zero Wine Storage
A wine cabinet that drifts a few degrees does more damage than one that dies outright, and it does it without a sound. We find why the temperature moved before the collection pays for it.
Coverage
Under-counter storage, full-height cabinets, single and dual zone, integrated and panel-ready. A model that is not on this list is still worth a call.
424 and 427-series, 24 inches, built into cabinetry.
Designer and Classic columns holding a whole collection.
Two independent zones, each with its own evaporator, fan and sensor.
UV glass doors, with their seals, hinges and switches.
Hidden behind cabinet panels, where reaching them is half the job.
A wine zone paired with a refrigerator or drawer compartment.
Units long out of warranty, where parts get sourced rather than pulled off the van.
What We Fix
Name the one that sounds like yours when you call. On a wine unit the symptom usually says whether it is airflow, a sensor or the sealed system before anyone reaches your address.
Evaporator, condenser or the sealed system — but airflow comes first. A condenser packed with dust makes a perfectly healthy compressor look dead.
The worst fault a collection can have, because the unit looks like it is working. A sensor, the control board, a tiring fan, or a door no longer sealing at the top.
The unit is fighting something: restricted airflow, dirty coils, a gasket letting warm air in, or refrigerant no longer where it belongs.
Each side of a dual-zone cabinet has its own evaporator, fan and sensor. A warm upper zone over a cold lower one narrows the search to that half and nothing else.
Humidity is getting in and nothing is carrying it away: the door seal, the drain line, or a defrost circuit that stopped running its cycle.
Evaporator or condenser fan bearings, or a compressor mount that has worked loose. Next to wine this is worth fixing for the vibration alone.
Control board, display module, or the supply behind the unit. Write the code down before you call: it often takes an hour of diagnostics down to ten minutes.
Hinge alignment, a gasket gone hard, or the door switch. Under-counter units get this worst — they are opened with a knee and closed with a hip.
Tell us what it does and when it does it. Most of these we can name on the phone in a couple of minutes.
Recent Repairs
Real wine cabinets, real faults, real parts on the invoice. Every one of them started as a phone call that sounded a lot like yours.
A cabinet that runs constantly and still will not hold temperature is usually fighting two things at once: a weak evaporator and a condenser that cannot shed its heat. Clean one without fixing the other and the problem simply comes back a month later.
Switching it off while it swung was the right call. A cabinet that cannot hold a number is airflow, a sensor, a fan or the sealed system — and testing them in that order is what stops parts going in on a guess.
Not every cooling fault needs a part. A condenser that cannot breathe raises pressures across the whole system, and a cabinet that struggled for months often comes right once the airflow is back and the readings confirm it.
